Will you pray for the persecuted church around the globe?
The biggest request we receive from persecuted believers around the globe is for prayer. Why? They don't want the people of Canada to forget about them in the struggles they face.

How can you pray for persecuted Christians?
- Let's start by praying that persecuted Christians will understand and find peace in the sufficiency of God’s grace, even in their weaknesses. It's crucial for them to grasp the promises of 2 Corinthians 12:9, where God reassures, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
- Next, let's pray that Christians facing hardship will draw from a source of power larger than themselves. Facing persecution often leaves them feeling helpless, but like Paul expressed in 2 Corinthians 1:7-9, their struggles can ultimately strengthen their reliance on God, who is far more powerful.
- Another prayer point is that God would be present with persecuted Christians in their hardship, protecting them according to His will. Just like Jesus prayed for deliverance in Matthew 26:39, we can ask for divine intervention while also surrendering to God's greater plan.
- Additionally, we should pray that whatever their circumstances, God will give persecuted Christians the right words. Echoing Paul's plea in Ephesians 6:19-20, we ask for fearlessness in proclaiming the gospel, even amidst adversity.
- Lastly, let's pray that their witness would inspire those who seek to harm them. When persecuted Christians respond with love and faith, their actions can touch the hearts of their persecutors, as seen in the example of Paul and Silas in Acts 16:25.
